How do I change my player name?
Go to the Profile screen and tap your name to edit it.
What are power-ups and how do I get them?
Power-ups (Safe Answer, Double Score, Extra Time) can be earned by watching rewarded ads or purchased via In-App Purchase inside the app. All purchases are processed by Apple or Google.
How does the competitive ranking work?
Playing online 1v1 matches earns or loses rating points (ELO system). Your rating determines your tier: Bronze → Silver → Gold → Platinum → Diamond → Master → Grandmaster → Legend.
How do I request a refund?
Refunds for In-App Purchases are handled by Apple or Google. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com (iOS) or the Google Play Help Center (Android).
How do I delete my data?
Email us at admin@harmoniadigitalweb.com with your player name and we will delete all server-side data associated with your account within 30 days.

1. Introduction
GeoBrain Challenge ("the app") is an educational geography game developed by Harmonia Digital. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
2. Data We Collect
- Player name — Optional. Used to display scores on leaderboards and in online matches.
- Scores & game statistics — Stored on our servers to power global leaderboards and the competitive ranking system.
- Competitive rating (ELO) — Calculated from online matches and stored on our servers.
- Push notification token — Stored on our servers solely to send leaderboard notifications. You can disable notifications at any time in device settings.
- Country flag — Optional. You choose your country manually; it is stored locally and sent with your scores.
- Advertising identifier (IDFA) — On iOS, collected only after you grant permission via the App Tracking Transparency prompt. Used by Google Mobile Ads to deliver relevant advertising. On Android, the Ad ID is used similarly.
3. How We Use Your Data
- Display global and regional leaderboards
- Run the competitive online ranking system
- Send optional push notifications about leaderboard changes
- Deliver and measure advertisements via Google AdMob
4. Third-Party Services
- Google AdMob — May collect device identifiers for advertising. See Google's Privacy Policy.
- Expo / EAS — Used for push notifications infrastructure.
- Railway — Our backend hosting provider. Data is stored in a PostgreSQL database on Railway's servers (EU region).
5. App Tracking Transparency (iOS)
On iOS 14.5 and later, we request permission via the App Tracking Transparency framework before collecting any advertising identifier. If you deny permission, you will still see ads but they will not be personalized.
6. Children Under 13
GeoBrain Challenge is designed for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us at admin@harmoniadigitalweb.com and we will delete it promptly.
7. Data Retention & Deletion
Server-side data (scores, ratings, push tokens) is retained indefinitely to support leaderboards. You may request deletion of all your data at any time by emailing admin@harmoniadigitalweb.com.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Contact us at the email above to exercise any of these rights.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect any changes. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
